The French company created packaging solutions for L’Oréal Paris and Givenchy

French packaging manufacturer Arcade Beauty has expanded its Socoplan site to better deliver cosmetic samples to its customers as it celebrates its 50th anniversary.

Located in the town of Saint-Jean-de-Thouars in the west of France, the Socoplan site produces skincare and make-up samples dedicated to the types of products belonging to the Arcade group, employing 250 people for a turnover of about 450m, depending on the company.

Now, the space has been extended with a new 4000 m² storage warehouse connected to the factory, supposed to optimize the supply chain, guarantee product safety and reduce the carbon impact of the factory, thanks to the elimination of inter-site transport.

The updated space also includes a secure sampling area, allowing integrated lab employees to test bulk orders in real time for more efficient delivery of finished products to customers.

The expansion of the Socoplan factory follows strong activity for Arcade Beauty in the field of cosmetic sachets; This year, the company unveiled its own branded stand-up 3D pouch, available in recycled material, as well as the creation of personalized sampling solutions for Givenchy’s Prisme Libre powder and L’Oréal eco-refill pouches.
