PARIS, Sept 6 (Reuters) – France will choose the new boss of state-owned electricity giant EDF in the coming days, the finance minister said on Tuesday, as the group grapples with a record number of shutdowns. nuclear reactors that threaten the country’s electricity supply.

The government announced in July the nationalization of EDF, of which the state already owns 84%, and also indicated that it was looking for a new general manager to replace Jean-Bernard Levy, at the head since 2014.
